A Post titled , “Republicans Ruin Hope for Change,” off of the Vanity Fair blog really sparked my interest for a few reasons. First off, the republicans who all except a few strongly hold a grudge against Obama… for reasons we can suspect to be his excess spending but most importantly his defeat of John McCain…. pulled every string to not pass the stimulus package. It is this type of non-bipartisanship that is ruining this country and will only did the hold deeper. HA! Second if anyone is to be pointing fingers it is the entire world at the Republicans as they bared witness to their Texas, farming chief president Bush.
Washington is faced with this problem of parties going their own separate ways. A democracy has institutionalized a free party system but it takes cooperation on both sides. There will be no forward progress if both the democrats and the republicans don’t cooperate and push forward for a better America.
Politicians are such cleaver people… during the election John McCain would not stop talking about Bipartisanship… now look at him… not only does he oppose almost everything Barack Obama is doing in the White House but he has also encourage his fellow Republicans not to vote with him. It is time for each American to stand up for our country and try and solve these problems as one body. Regardless of party lines lets try and resolve the issues at hand and reclaim our name as the United States of America.
